Description
Are you sensitive to light?
People who suffer from Photophobia (sensitivity to light) can get relief wearing the right frame and lens combination. Simply blocking more light by using darker and darker lenses isn’t the answer. It can actually make your vision worse, as light levels get less so does the quality of your vision.
Research back in the 1990s by Birmingham University found that by using certain filters in glasses they could dramatically reduce the risk of triggering patients migraine headaches, blepharospasm, light-triggered seizures and CVS (Computer Vision Syndrome). After extensive patient testing, the filter used was given the code name FL-41. The filter works by blocking certain colours in the colour spectrum. We use the exact same filter in our FL-41 frames. You can order this frame to see if you are one of the 85% of surfers who can benefit from using this special coloured filter. If you are not, simply put the glasses back in the box and return them for a refund.
The filter offers relief from:
- Migraine headaches
- Blepharospasm
- Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS)
- Sensitivity to fluorescent lighting
- Motion sickness
When treating any medical condition we would always recommend you seek the advice of your eye doctor (ophthalmologist) or GP before you make a purchase.
Steve Maud –
I love the lens really helps me with the bright fluorescent lights at work. Wished I had bought the better frame.
Lynda –
My eyes are extremely sensitive to light and these have helped tremendously.
Alice –
I have already bought the tester and it really does help me. Now I would like a pair of prescription FL-41 lenses making but I would like to try the glasses first. Do you have an office or showroom I can visit?
Michael Edward –
Hi Alice
We do have a showroom, just outside of Manchester and you would be most welcome. We can offer you expert advice and a choice of over 400 frames, including free fitting service.
We look forward to seeing you.
Mike
