Please note that Ready-Vision goggles are not suitable for prescriptions with a high cylindrical correction.

What is a Ready-Vision Swim Goggle?

A Ready-Vision swim goggle (also called a Ready-Vision RX goggle) is a prescription swimming goggle designed for people who normally wear glasses or contact lenses, allowing them to see clearly underwater without contacts.

Here’s what it means in simple terms:

  • “Ready-Vision” refers to the fact that the goggles can be customised to your eyesight, similar to prescription glasses.

  • “RX” means prescription — the lenses can be made to match (or closely match) your optical prescription.

  • They are available in optical strengths (diopters), usually in 0.5 increments, so the lenses can be chosen or calculated to correct your nearsightedness (myopia) or farsightedness (hyperopia).

  • These goggles often come with replaceable lenses and adjustable nose bridges to ensure a comfortable fit.

Essentially, Ready-Vision goggles let swimmers with vision correction needs see clearly underwater without the inconvenience or risk of wearing contact lenses in the pool.
