Do you have a high prescription?

Add high power lenses

If you have high prescription powers or normally have your lenses thinned down you will require high index lenses. High index lenses compensate for high prescriptions and provide a more natural vision and are thinner and lighter. Prescriptions with powers great than + or -6 Sph. with an opposite Cyl to + or - 2 should tick the box above. If your prescription is higher than + or - 8 then you should email a copy of the prescription and we will offer further advice.

Boys sports glasses with prescription lenses

The Leader Front Runner is a boys heavy-duty piece of prescription sports eyewear. The Front Runner has been designed to provide two important functions, one to allow your child to see clearly and two to provide important eye protection. We recommend this frame for girls aged between 6 and 14 years old. The frame will accept prescription power 8 to +4 Sph and should the power of your child’s prescription change the frame can easily be fitted with new prescription lenses. The Front Runner has the option of a quick release Velcro head strap turning them into a pair of goggles and ensures they will stay firmly in place. The arms have rubber inserts for comfort and grip.

Important notice: We take the protection and safety of children’s sports protective eyewear very seriously. That’s why the prescription lenses for this goggle are made from polycarbonate virtually unbreakable and will sustain the impact of a ball or finger. We also take the use of prescription frames for children equally as serious. We strongly recommend that after purchasing your children’s sports prescription eyewear that before your child wears them that they are first checked by a fully qualified Optometrist/ophthalmic optician. Only after a check has been made of the lenses, frame, plane, and height should your child begin to wear them.
